THE CONFIDANTE HOTEL

Art Basel Miami 2019, The Confidante Hotel, welcomed renowned Miami Artist, LEBO, and his curated group of local artists to unveil the Miami Art Week edition of the hotel’s rotating local art exhibit. This talented group brought a mix of large-scale murals, paintings and photography.
The event was held in the 1930s House, a historic bungalow located in The Confidante’s backyard. The invite-only “Art of the Cocktail” featured a variety of pop-up activations by each of the artists, including a personalized Polaroid photo booth station, customized canvas totes by myself and an interactive painting experience.
"I was honored being asked by LEBO to create a visual story for this event. Thus, the Miami Geisha Series was created and showcased at the beautiful Confidante Hotel in Miami Beach. It was an amazing experience that truly tested my creative limitations. With assisting in the designing and execution of 2 amazing permanent murals on property, its an experience that I will always hold dear."
OPEN HEARTS LANGUAGE ACADEMY
OHLA MIAMI MURAL

Open Hearts Language Academy (OHLA) is an Award Winning language school with 20 years of experience in the field, welcoming students from over 70 different countries. With locations in Miami, Orlando, and Boca Raton, they service their students by maintaining the highest standards of teaching to generate knowledgeable, personable, and self-confident English speakers.
"When my friends at OHLA asked me to paint a mural at their flagship Miami facilities, I was surprised beyond belief. Extremely happy to be asked of this and immediately began designing. My thoughts were: how could I convey their message to all that visit the Miami campus? So I focused on the different nationalities that they serve on a daily basis, used their namesake's "play on words" as inspiration, and highlighted the Miami location. This was a great opportunity and I'm proud of our partnership throughout the process. I can't say enough about this awesome language school and the people that dedicate themselves to it!"
THE AML ADVISORY GROUP

The AML Advisory Group provides Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) consulting services along with permanent placements for Financial Institutions. Their specialty is providing specialized staffing needs in the BSA/AML sector through facilitating the recruiting process for their clients. They are a committed company that relieves their client from the time consuming process of prescreening prospective talent while ensuring their key vetting process qualifies the candidate as a perfect match for a dynamic company structure.
"For the 2020 FIBA AML Conference, the AML Advisory Group commissioned me to create a conversational piece that centered on the conference's main theme: "Combating Human Trafficking". This immediately sparked a feeling within me and I knew I had to help by bringing awareness in my own way. During this collaboration, I really pushed myself to tell a story with emotion, full of meaning, and be informative to its viewer. Thus, the piece known as "Helping Hands" was born. Also, the AML Advisory Group loved my "Miami Geisha Series" so much, that they adapted one of the pieces to be used as promotional merchandising. "Cafecito Geisha" on a coffee mug. Genius!"

"As a student in the VISUAL ARTS HONORS CONSERVATORY (VAHC) Program, I was selected to be a part of the first Mural Project for MDC. The small group of student artists were tasked to create four murals that celebrated the Arts. My "Drama" Mural design was chosen by the faculty of MDC and we began the project thereafter. This was not only my first mural, but the first time that I painted alongside a team of artists. I learned much during this experience. Teachings that would last me a lifetime."
